Mise-en-Scene

'Mise-en-Scene' means Everything that's happening within the scene/frame. That'll include Costumes, colour, facial expressions, composition, lighting, sound etc.

Opening scene: Jaws (film)
As the scene opens we can see that there's Low lighting- darkness suggests that it's the night time in the current scene. The Source of light in the opening scene is the camp fire which suggests that it's safe and warm there. A group of people sat around the fire. We can hear a couple of different sounds from that scene like music, people talking (conversations), laughter etc. The couple is sitting away from the group. (Away from the camp fire)

They move to the sea, further away. Isolating themselves. They run alongside the fence/bars/cage. (trap). The sound that we here during this shot ^ is of the waves, running and the sound of the couple's conversation. As they've isolated themselves from the group suggests that something's bad going to happen.

How are Generic Elements and camera angles used to create suspense in the attic scene in the movie Exorcist?

To create intense tension and suspense in the attic scene of the movie is by using different camera angles, close ups, side angles and focusing and zooming on a certain object. By using different angles of the camera we are being given this idea that we can see exactly what she's seeing in the attic.
The camera movement in the scene is also very slow to create suspense. The lady in the attic is moving very slow and carefully because it's dark in the attic. Slow camera movement creates suspense in within the audience as they are very eager and curious to find out what happens next in the scene. The music and the noises added to the scene also has a great impact in creating suspense and tension in the scene. Choosing appropriate music can make the scene even more interesting because it gives us an idea of what the woman in the attic is hearing.

Hunger games (film) is based on the book series by Suzanne Collins which made me watch this film in the first place. The film's entirely based on the books except that some scenes are cut added which didn't make much of a difference. The reason I like this movie is because it gives you the same intense feeling as the book i
